I am pleased to reactivate The Elizabeth Condo Blog with this good news:
as of April 6, 2017, the west side elevator is repaired, inspected and up and running with the new foundation floor and tile covering.
Our General Manager MaryAnn Hall called Otis Elevator Company every day emphasizing the safety issue and asking for quicker service than the April 17 schedule.
Luckily, the Otis safety division EMCO had a cancellation. Because MaryAnn was on top of the schedule with her calls, Otis sent out the repair team to work on the elevator to repair the foundation floor Monday and Tuesday.
Otis completed their work and MaryAnn was able to get immediate response from the flooring company for Wednesday.
Otis made its inspection and now the west side elevator car is back in service.
Thank you, MaryAnn!
